From Mr Playstival, developer of the lovely Red Code 2 comes this classic story of chess pieces at war with each other. You are a lowly Black Pawn and it is up to you to rescue the rest of the black pieces and defeat all the white ones.
Although still in development, the core gameplay is finished. Controls are solid, allowing the player to jump off walls, stick to the ceiling and shoot, charge, slash and block.
A variety of bosses are already in the game, as well as lovely cutscenes telling the mad story.
Objects and upgrades are in too- really it's just the small matter of building more levels and writing more story, which for me is the most fun part of a project so I'm looking forward to finishing this one off.
